Visitors!

George and I really enjoy having friends and family visit us in Tennessee.  A few weeks ago, our good friend Josh, came in town.  We headed down to another friend's awesome condo overlooking Nashville and were able to hear the Luke Bryan concert from his balcony.  I could get used to this!

Awesome view of the city.

My sister, Katie, came to visit, and we had such a great weekend!!

We watched the UGA and Bama games at the same time thanks to Katie's idea of compromise.  George reluctantly agreed to watch the first half of the Georgia game on the small TV sans audio and the second half on the big screen.  It can be hard to have a house divided, but marriage is all about compromise. :)  Luckily, both teams won!

We carved pumpkins and, sadly, they have already 'sunken' in after one night of being lit. :(  Next year, maybe I should buy them from somewhere other than Publix.

Beautiful leaves!

We had such a great weekend with Katie!  Hoping to have more visitors very soon!

Our sweet Henry was born!  He has brought so much joy to our lives over the years.  Here are some of our favorite pics...

Enjoying a meat bone today, a very rare treat, but one he loves!  Happy Birthday Buddy!

Introducing.....

George Burr Green, Jr., Esq. !!

Today, after a long 2 1/2 months, we found out that George has officially passed the Bar Exam!  I could not be more proud of him.

We celebrated with champagne at Boxwood Bistro, a delicious restaurant in Franklin.  Congratulations George!

Farewell Bobby

Braves baseball is something that I am VERY passionate about.  Growing up, my family had season tickets and probably attended close to 40 games a season.... some of my fondest childhood memories consisted of sitting in the stands at Atlanta Fulton County Stadium doing the tomahawk chop.  So, this year we thought it would only be necessary to attend Bobby Cox's last regular season home game as manager of the Braves.

 Trying to catch the wave...

Like Father like Son (in-law)

A very windy and chilly day!

You will be missed Bobby!

One Year Chip

Today is a very special day.  My beautiful sister, Ryan, has been healthy, happy and sober for ONE YEAR!  What an unbelievable accomplishment.  She is determined, strong, and someone that I have always and will always admire.  Today she will receive her 'one year chip' and words cannot describe how proud I am.  :)

George and I will be headed down to Atlanta to celebrate Ryan, watch the Tide roll over the Gators (and hopefully watch UGA win a game)  and attend Bobby Cox's last game on Sunday!  Go Braves and Roll Tide!

We love you, Ryan. :)
